Black Heart

 Jouluna sain viimeinkin mun kauan odottamani Black Heartin! Olin jättäny tän figun ennakkotilaamatta, koska sen piti ilmestyä sopivasti Japanin reissun aikoihin ja tarkotuksena oli ostaa se sieltä. Noh, olisihan se pitänyt arvata, niin kuin melkein jokaisen figuurin kohalla, myös tän julkasupäivä siirtyi ja niinpä Black Heart ilmesty viikko sen jälkeen kun tultiin takasin Suomeen... Luojan kiitos Amiamilla oli figuuria vielä varastossa ja niinpä pistin sen saman tien tilaukseen!

I finally got my hands on this long-awaited beauty called Black Heart! I didn't pre-order her because she was supposed to be released before our Japan trip and I was planning to buy her from Tokyo but I should have known better... Nowadays almost every figure gets delayed a month or two (or 3 or 4...) and of course that was the case with Black Heart too. In the end she was released a week after our trip... But thank god Amiami had still few in stock and I was able to order her from there!

 Black Heart on Hyperdimension Neptunia-pelisarjasta tuttu hahmo joka on alueen nimeltä Lastation (a.k.a Playstation ♥) CPU, eli hallitsija. Hyperdimension Neptunia-pelit on japanilaisia roolipelejä jotka perustuu lyhyesti tiivistettynä konsolisotaan. Pelin päähenkilötytöt edustaa neljää eri pelikonsolia (Sega Neptune, Playstation, Nintendo Wii ja Xbox) jotka pystyy taistelun tullen muuntautumaan upeisiin Goddess-muotoihin. Mun lemppari tsunderetyttö Noire (vasen kuva yllä) on Lastationin johtaja ja pystyy siis muuntautumaan Black Heartiksi (ei varmaan tuu kellekään yllätyksenä miksi se on mun lemppari... XD). Ite tykkään noista peleistä niiden visual novel-tyylisen tarinankerronnan ja hauskan huumorin takia! Rakastan miten paljon niissä käytetään viittauksia muihin peleihin ja pelialaan yleensäkin. Hahmot on myös aivan ihania ja enkä oo vielä törmänny yhteenkään ärsyttävään tyyppiin, mikä on harvinaista kun yleensä löydän peleistä heti ensimmäiseks kaikki inhokkihahmot. XD Hyperdimension Neptunia-pelejä on jos jonkilaista, kun eri hahmoille tehään myös paljon erilaisia spin-off pelejä. Pääpelejä on tällä hetkellä kolme ja neljäs ilmestyy nyt keväällä vihdoin tänne länteenkin! Odotan innolla!

Black Heart is a character from video game series called Hyperdimension Neptunia. She's the CPU, the ruler, of a region called Lastation (a.k.a Playstation ♥). Hyperdimension Neptunia games are japanese role-playing games and the story revolves around console wars to put it very simply. The main characters are four girls who all represents different video game console (Sega Neptune, Playstation, Nintendo Wii & Xbox) and when things get rough they can transform into these awesome Goddess forms. My favourite tsundere girl, Noire (left picture above), is the leader of Lastation and as such she can transform into Black Heart (I guess it's not a surprise to anyone why she's my favourite... XD). Personally I enjoy the games because of their visual novel-style story telling and hilarious humor! I love how they use different video game references all the time and and all the characters are so lovable! I'm surprised that I haven't found a single character from these games that I don't like when usually it's the opposite. XD Hyperdimension Neptunia series has many games since some of them are spin-offs but the main storyline consist of three games and the fourth is finally coming out in the western market this spring! Can't wait!

Siinä hän nyt poseeraa kaikessa kauneudessaan! Kuvassa se ei nyt kunnolla näy, mutta Black Heart pönöttää kotoistasti meijän PS4:n päällä ja ohjaimet oli pakko saada pleikan tunnusvärivaloilla mukaan! ♥

And there she stands in all of it's beauty! You can't quite see it from the picture but Black Heart is posing on our PS4 console and I just had to cram all our controllers illuminating in Playstation's trademark colors into the picture as well! ♥

Noi siivet oli yhtä helvettiä saada tohon figuun kiinni!! Jokanen siipi piti tunkeä erikseen sellasella pienen pienellä väkäsellä kiinni ympäri hiuksia oleviin reikiin ja yks reikä oli niin mahdottomassa paikassa, et onnistuin vaan rikkomaan sen väkäsen siitä siivestä. Noh, ei auttanu muu kun kaivaa pikaliimaa kehiin ja lopulta sain siiven joten kuten paikoilleen!

Those goddamn wings was a serious pain in the ass to attach!! Every wing piece had small pegs that needed to be attached into the holes all over Black Heart's hair. One hole was in so difficult position that it was impossible to squeeze the peg into it and in the end I broke the damn thing... But, superclue to the rescue and eventually she was good to go!

Tää kyseinen Black Heart on Hyperdimension Neptunian animeadaptaatiosta, jota en ikävä kyllä oo vielä nähnyt. Täytyy ottaakin tavotteeksi kattoa se tässä lähiaikoina! Tän figuurin ykstyiskohdat on kyllä ihan huippuluokkaa elikkä taattua Alterin laatua! Rakastan erityisesti noita silmiä missä näkyy selvästi toi käynnistys-nappulan kuvio. Aseensa takia tää figuuri vie todella paljon tilaa ja jouduinkin siivoomaan ihan oman väliaikasen hyllyn mokomalle!

This Black Heart figure is from the Hyperdimension Neptunia anime series that I haven't seen yet. I'm going to add it to my must watch-list! The details in this figure are absolutely wonderful which is no surprise since this is a figure from Alter. I love especially her eyes where you can see the pattern of power on/off-button. Because of her weapon this figure needs a whole lot of space and I had to clean one shelf just for her!

Rakastan miten eri kuvakulmilla tästä figusta saa niin monenlaisia kuvia! Black Heart kyllä loikkas heti mun lempparifiguurien kärkeen muiden Alterin figuurien kanssa. Tätä jaksaa ihastella ja pällistellä vielä pitkän aikaa!

I love how changing the angle affects the whole figure allowing you to take more versatile pictures of it! Black Heart definitely jumped to one of my top favourite figures with all the other Alter figures. This is yet again one of those figures that I'll enjoy of for a long, long time!

Meillä alkaa vihdoinkin viimesen kuukauden lähtölaskenta Japanin matkaan! Vierotusoireet alkaakin jo painaa päälle ja ei olla koko kesään kamujen kanssa muusta puhuttukaan kun tulevasta reissusta. XD Vaikka yleensä on ihanaa mennä Paten kaksistaankin Japaniin, niin nyt on jotenkin ihan eri tavalla innostuneempi fiilis kun tulee taas kavereita mukaan. En malta oikeesti pysyä pöksyissäni! Oltiin näiden samojen tyyppien (Maria & Simon) kanssa Japanissa viimeks vuonna 2011 (mihin on kaikki aika kadonnut?!) ja nyt on aika koota edelleen yhtä urpo Team Japan kasaan jälleen!

It's finally time to start the countdown to our next Japan trip which is less than a month away! I'm having some serious Japan withdrawals already and our vacation is the only thing we've been talking about ALL summer! XD I'm super excited and hyped up about this trip since we are going with our friends again, even though I still love going on vacation alone with Patrick too (of course!). We've been in Japan with these friends (Maria & Simon) already in 2011 and it's time to unite Team Japan again!

Japanifiilistä ollaan pidetty myös yllä Rakkautta & Anarkiaa festivaalin merkeissä, käytiin nimittäin viikko sitten kattomassa Ryuzo and his seven henchmen -elokuva ja eilen vielä Ghiblin uutuus Marnie - tyttö ikkunassa. Ryuzo oli taattua japanihuumoria höystettynä yakuza-elementeillä, eikä kyllä tarvinnu pettyä! Nauroin melkein koko elokuvan alusta loppuun! Oon aina ollu sitä mieltä, et japanilaiset ja kiinalaiset osaa tehä hyvää komediaa mut esim. brittien huumori ei taas iske muhun ollenkaan! Outoa.. XD Anyhow, Ryuzo oli ihan älyttömän hauska alusta loppuun eikä todellakaan ottanut itteään liian vakavasti.

We have hyped this trip in so many ways including few movies that we saw at the Love & Anarchy movie festival. First movie was called Ryuzo and his seven henchmen which we went to see a week ago, and the second was Studio Ghibli's new movie called When Marnie was there. Ryuzo was a comedy film about old yakuza farts and it was hilarious!! Omg I almost laughed the entire movie! I've always thought that Japanese and Chinese people know how to do great comedy, but on the other hand I don't get brittish humor at all! Weird.. XD Anyhow, Ryuzo was incredibly funny from the start to the end and it didn't take itself too seriously.

Ghiblin Marnie - tyttö ikkunassa olikin sitten vähän toisenlaisempi kokemus verrattuna Ryuzoon. Japanissa tää leffa on ilmestynyt jo vuosi sitten ja nyt R&A festivaaleilla päästiin näkemään ennakkonäytös ennen varsinaista Suomen ensi-iltaa joka on ens perjantaina 2.10. Ennakkonäytöksessä oli vieraana leffan ohjaaja Hiromasa Yonebayashi ja tuottaja Yoshiaki Nishimura. Ennen elokuvaa oli myös mahdollisuus saada ohjaajan nimmari ja 30 ensimmäistä sai vielä Marnie-julisteet kaupan päälle! Onnistuttiin Paten kanssa molemmat saamaan omat julisteet ja niihin sai vielä pyytää piirustukset itse ohjaajalta! Mä pyysin Marnien kuvaa jolla on kissankorvat ja sekä tulkki, että Hiromasa alko nauramaan ja pahoitteli jo etukäteen työn laatua, koska se oli ensimmäinen kerta kun joku pyys kissankorvia sen hahmoille. Sain kuitenkin lopulta ultra söpön kuvan Marniesta kissankorvilla enkä vois olla ilosempi! Pate vuorollaan päätti sitten olla erilainen ja kysy siltä ohjaajlta, että voisko se piirtää sen päähenkilöPOJAN siihen julisteeseen ja sai hetken hiljasuuden jälkeen vaan vastaukseks: "It's a girl..." X'DD EPIC FAIL!

On the contrary the Ghibli movie When Marnie was there was a whole different story compared to Ryuzo. The movie came out in Japan a year ago and we got to see the premiere of the film here at the movie festival even before the Finnish release date. They also had the director Hiromasa Yonebayashi and the producer Yoshiaki Nishimura there as guests of honor and there was an autograph signing event before the movie. For the first 30 people they gave huge Marnie posters with original art made by Mr. Yonebayashi! We were lucky enough to get our own posters with Pat and I even asked the director to draw Marnie with kitty ears onto my poster! Both the interpreter and Mr. Yonebayashi laughed at my request since it was the first time anyone asked something like that! But in the end he drew Marnie with kitty ears for me!! I was so happy! When it was Pat's turn he decided to be a bit different and asked the director to draw the main character BOY onto his posters. The director was quiet for a few seconds and then answered to Pat: "It's a girl..." X'DD EPIC FAIL!

Itse leffa oli täysin toisenlainen mitä odotin, mut ehdottomasti kattomisen arvonen teos! Ghiblin laatu näkyy ja kuuluu koko elokuvan ajan ja kaikkia yksityiskohtia tekis mieli vaan jäädä ihastelemaan ja ihmettelemään pidemmäksikin aikaa! Oli myöskin tosi mielenkiintosta nähdä Ghiblin elokuva jossa ei ole pienintäkään Miyazakin kosketusta. Ja täytyy nyt myöntää, et kyllä se Ghibli jää osaaviin käsiin mestari Miyazakin jälkeenkin!

The movie itself was completely different than I had expected but definitely a master piece worth watching! The trusty "Ghibli quality" was there to be seen and heard for the whole time and at some point I just wanted to pause the movie and admire all the little details in it! It was also interesting to see a whole new Ghibli movie without any touch from Miyazaki in it. And I have to admit that the future of Studio Ghibli really is in capable hands even without master Miyazaki!

Alotettiin myöskin parin kuukauden tauon jälkeen taas Final Fantasy XIV nettipeli. Ostettiin molemmille vielä Heavensward lisärit ja kaikki vapaa-aika onkin kulunu vaan sen tahkomiseen. Lisärin myötä Eorzean maailma sai kivasti uusia alueita ja LENTÄVÄT RATSUT! Ahhh sitä on odotettu!! Vedettiin myöskin lisärin eka bosse tappelu läpi ja vitsi se oli makee! Tuskin maltan odottaa mitä kaikkea sieltä tulee vielä lisää!

After a few months of absence we returned to play Final Fantasy XIV again! We bought the new expansion packs, Heavensward, for the both of us and we've been doing nothing else with our free time than playing the game. Within the expansion the world of Eorzea got quite many new areas and FLYING MOUNTS!! Ahhh we've been waiting for them forever!! We also played through the expansions first boss battle and damn it was awesome! Can't wait to see what the future has in hold for us!

Toivoisin niin, et meijän kaverit innostuis pelaamaan tota enemmän, et sais kunnon joukon kasaan. Tällä hetkellä tasan yks kaveri on pelannu ittensä korkeille leveleille ja tekee meijän kanssa raideja ja muita end game juttuja. Kaikki aina alottaa innoissaan mut lopettaa sit kesken leikin... Buu! (;___;) Jos joku lukijoista pelaa tai on alottelemassa niin me pelataan EU:n Cerberus-serverillä, saa tulla nykimään hihasta! *wink wink* XD

Mutta eipä mulla muuta tällä kertaa! Päiviä lasketaan ja aikaa kulutetaan pelaamalla, töissä käymällä ja kissoja kiusaamalla.... Näihin kuviin ja tunnelmiin, ens kertaan!!

I really hope that more of our friends would get into the game so we could get a nice, small group to play together with. At the moment only one of our friends plays the game regularly and do raids and all other end game stuff with us. Everyone always starts the game with full of enthusiasm but after a few levels they just stop playing it... Buu! (;___;) If any of you readers play the game already or are starting to, we play at the EU's Cerberus server! *wink wink* XD

But that's all for now! We are counting days to Japan and spending all the time we have playing games, working and teasing our kitty cats... Until next time!!

Nendoroid #447 - Solid Snake

Solid Snake on päähenkilö pelistä nimeltä Metal Gear Solid. MGS-pelit on tosi suosittuja hiippailu/action-pelejä joissa on tosi mielenkiintonen ja monipuolinen juoni sekä hahmot! Muhun kolahti erityisesti sarjan musiikit jotka on osittain säveltäny mun lempi säveltäjä Harry Gregson-Williams (säveltänyt mm. Narnian ja Shrekin musiikit). <3

Solid Snake is the main character from the game called Metal Gear Solid. MGS-games are really popular stealth/action-games with a very interesting and versatile story with great characters! I absolutely fell in love with the music of the games which is partially composed by my favourite composer Harry Gregson-Williams (composed music to Narnia and Shrek movies i.e.). <3

 Tupakoiminen ei oo mun juttu, mut Snake näyttää vaan niin kovikselta rööki suussa kädessä... Jopa nendoroidina!! XD

Smoking is not my cup of tea but Snake just looks so bad ass while doing it... Even in nendoroid form!! XD

 Nendoroidin mukana tuli pari pelistä tuttua asetta ja myöskin "codec"-sormet, jotka Snake laittaa aina korvalle kun muilla hahmoilla on asiaa. Brilliant! Vaihtojalan ansiosta noi polvistumisasennot on myös mahdollisia! Snaken kädet on myös olkapäistä ja kyynäristä nivelletty eli se taipuu erilaisiin asentoihin paljon paremmin kun tavallinen nendoroidi!

Snake came with few of the weapons from the game and they also included the "codec"-hand for him, which means that when a character in the game calls in to his codec, he puts two fingers over his ear and then he can hear them. Brilliant! The extra leg also makes him possible to kneel down and he has joints on his shoulder and elbow so he can pose a lot better than regular nendoroids!

Kuitenkin paras asia koko nendoroidissa oli tää kamala PlayStation 1-versio sen naamasta!! Ota nyt tota sit tosissaan... Aivan mahtava idea ja onhan toi nyt vaan nostalginen vaikka ruma onkin! XD

The best thing about this nendoroid is this horrible Play Station 1-version of his face!! There goes his street cred... But still that face was an awesome idea and it's really nostalgic eventhough he's not the prettiest nendo out there! XD

Kotori on yks mun lempparitytöistä Love Livestä (kakkosena Nozomin kanssa, Eli edelleen nro 1) ja ehdin jo pelästyä, et onko tää söpöläinen kadonnut lopullisesti postin uumeniin kun kesti niin kauan kuljetuksessa!  Vähän kyllä harmittaa, et näillä LL-tytöillä ei kauheesti mitään extraa mukana tuu, mut onhan tuo ihan ymmärrettävää kun niitä on kuiteskin se 9 tyttöä... :D

Kotori is one of my favourite girls from Love Live (she shares the second place with Nozomi, Eli is always no. 1) and I was starting to get worried if I'll ever get her since it took so long to be delivered! It's a bummer that LL-nendoroids don't come with anything special but I guess it's understandable since there's 9 girls overall... :D

Super Sonico - Queen of Hearts ver.

 Jälleen uusi figuuri lisää mun Sonico-kokoelmaan... Huhuhu. Ensimmäistä kertaa kun näin tän kyseisen figuurin skulptin niin se oli rakkautta ensisilmäyksellä (miks musta tuntuu et aika moni figuuri on rakkautta ensisilmäyksellä....? XD)! Tykkään muutenkin ihan älyttömästi satuteemasista figuureista ja nukeista yms, joten mikäs sen parempi yhdistelmä kun Sonico ja sadut! (/// w ///)

Yet again I got a new Sonico to my collection... Huhuhu. That instant when I saw the sculpt of this figure I knew it was love at a first sight (I get the feeling that quite many figures are 'love at first sight' for me... XD)! Personally I love when fairytales are mixed with figures or dolls or what ever, so what could be better combination than 
Sonico and fairytales! (/// w ///)

Ja kieltämättä Sonico on kyllä yks erittäin kuuma kuningatar... Ei voi muuta sanoa! XD Kyseessä on jälleen prize-figuuri, eli hintakin oli todella edullinen laatuunsa nähden vaikka alan pikku hiljaa huomaamaan yhtenäisyyksiä FuRyun Sonicojen ilmeissä. Naama kuitenkin taitaa olla yks vaikeimmista asioista toteuttaa figuureja tehdessä, joten en kyllä valita kun laatu muuten on melkein täydellistä!

There's no denying that Sonico is one hot piece of... queen! XD This figure is also a prize-figure so it's really cheap and the quality is almost perfect! Although I'm starting to see similarities of FuRyu's Sonico-figures faces and their expressions. I guess face is one of the most difficult parts when manufacuring figures so I don't want to complain if the quality and price stays as great as it is now!

Välillä mietin mikä Sonicossa on mukamas niin ihmeellistä kun oon ihan hulluna siihen, mut mulle vaan tulee aina niin hyvä mieli kun katon noita figuureita siitä tai sen höpö-löpö animea tai kuuntelen sen kappaleita! Jotkut hahmot vaan kolahtaa ihan täysillä heti ensi näkemästä ja vaikka niissä ei olis mitään ihmeellistä edes, niin siitä hahmosta välittää just sellasena ku se on. Sen takia oon erityisen ilonen, et Sonico on kasvattanu mainettaan enemmän ja enemmän ja tällaset syötävän suloset figuurit on näin ollen mahdollisia!

Sometimes I wonder what makes Sonico so special and why I'm so obsessed with her... But it's simply because when I look my figures of her or watch her silly anime or listen to her music, it always lifts my mood and makes me happy! Some characters just grow into you that very instant when you see them first time and there doesn't even need to be anything special about him/her to make you love them as they are. That's why I'm very happy about the fact that Sonico is so popular nowadays so I can have these super cute figures of her!

Oikein mahtavaa alkanutta vuotta kaikille lukijoille! Toivottavasti vuodenvaihde meni kaikilla rauhallisissa merkeissä. Ite oon ollu sitkeessä flunssassa joulusta asti eikä loppua näy.... (;___;) Onneks sentään lomaa on vielä muutama päivä jäljellä, et kerkee vielä parantuakin ennen töihin paluuta!

Ennen viime vuoden muisteloita ja tulevan vuoden suunnitelmia täytyy kuitenkin tehä vielä tää pakollinen joululahjapostaus! Jätin kaikki "ei harrastukseen"-kuuluvat pois kuvista, koska en usko, että sukkapaketit ja konvehtirasiat nyt on niitä kaikkein kiinnostavimpia lahjoja. XD

Happy new year to all my readers! Hopefully all the festivities went well with everyone. I've been sick with a very persistent flu since christmas and there's no end in sight.... (;___;) Well at least I have a few days left of my vacation so hopefully I'll get better before returning back to work.

 Before I do a summary of 2014 or write about my plans for this year, I need to get this mandatory christmas gift post out of the system! I only took pictures of the gifts withing my hobby and left all the socks and chocolate boxes out because everyone has seen them more than enough. XD

Ahhhh.... Kyllä nyt kelpaa pelailla!! Sain pelien lisäksi rahaa PSN:ään (Playstation Network) joilla ostin heti myös yhen rytmipelin lisää, eli Senran Kagura: Bon appetit - pelin (varoitus: tissejä)! Love Live-peli ei kerennyt jouluksi ja tälläkin hetkellä se jumittaa tullissa, koska pyhäpäivä... Mutta toivottavasti jo huomenna saan sen vihdoin kätösiini! Rytmipelejä ei koskaan voi olla liikaa! (◞ꈍ∇ꈍ)

Ahhh... This will keep me busy for a while!! I also got money for PSN (Playstation network) which I instantly used to buy another rythm game called Senran Kagura: Bon appetit (warning: titties)! The Love Live-game didn't get here before christmas and now it's stuck in the customs because of holidays... Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow! One simply can't have too many rythm games! (◞ꈍ∇ꈍ)

Olihan niitä amiibojakin sitten vihdoin ja viimein pakko hommata! Ensinnäkin ihan vaan siksi, että Nintendon hahmoista on tosi hankala löytää yhtään mitään figuja ja toisekseen haluttiin alkaa kehittämään tota Villageria ja Linkkiä Super Smash Bros-pelissä ja ne alkaa olla jo ihan voittamattomia siinä... Ei meinaa omat skillit enää riittää! :D Mut pakko sanoa, et oon kyllä pettyny näiden amiibojen laatuun varsinkin kun promokuvat näytti niin lupaavilta! Toi Linkin keltanen kusiputki vaan jaksaa mietityttää, että MIKSI NINTENDO, MIKSI?!

We finally decided to buy few amiibos as well because first of all it's very hard to find any figures of Nintendo-characters, and secondly we wanted to train Villager and Link in the Super Smash Bros-game and their skills really are improving fast! Soon my own skills aren't gonna keep up with them anymore! :D But I have to say that I'm really disappointed of the quality of amiibos especially after seeing all the promo pictures that looked so great! I'm still wondering about their choice to give the Link's support stand that urine-yellow color! WHY NINTENDO, WHY?!

Ja sitten sitä muovikauneutta...! （人´∀`*） Tänä jouluna jäi figuurisaldo pikkasen pienemmäksi kun viimeksi, mikä on kyllä vaihteeksi ihan hyväkin asia!! Pähkäilen jo nyt, että mihin mahutan nääkin kaikki uudet tulokkaat... Erityisen ilonen oon mun Love Live-kokoelman kasvamisesta! Ja kuten ensimmäisestä kuvasta näkee, sain jouluna viimein täyteen mun ensimmäisen kokonaisen ryhmän kun puuttuvat jäsenet No Brand Girls-versioista löyty lahjapaketeista! Teen myöhemmin nendoroideista ainakin vielä omat esittelyt, kunhan toinen Love Live-tyttönen löytää tiensä ensin kotiin!

And last but not least, here's some plastic happiness....! （人´∀`*） I didn't get as many figures this christmas as I did in last year but seriously it was a good thing for a change!! I still have no clue where to put all these new figures.... Especially I'm happy about all those Love Live-girlies because now I finally have a complete set of No Brand Girls-figures (as you can see in the first picture of this post)! I'll write reviews of my new nendoroids after another LL-nendoroid finds it way home!
