Hellurei ihanaiset!

Meillä alkaa vihdoinkin viimesen kuukauden lähtölaskenta Japanin matkaan! Vierotusoireet alkaakin jo painaa päälle ja ei olla koko kesään kamujen kanssa muusta puhuttukaan kun tulevasta reissusta. XD Vaikka yleensä on ihanaa mennä Paten kaksistaankin Japaniin, niin nyt on jotenkin ihan eri tavalla innostuneempi fiilis kun tulee taas kavereita mukaan. En malta oikeesti pysyä pöksyissäni! Oltiin näiden samojen tyyppien (Maria & Simon) kanssa Japanissa viimeks vuonna 2011 (mihin on kaikki aika kadonnut?!) ja nyt on aika koota edelleen yhtä urpo Team Japan kasaan jälleen!

Hello lovelies!

It's finally time to start the countdown to our next Japan trip which is less than a month away! I'm having some serious Japan withdrawals already and our vacation is the only thing we've been talking about ALL summer! XD I'm super excited and hyped up about this trip since we are going with our friends again, even though I still love going on vacation alone with Patrick too (of course!). We've been in Japan with these friends (Maria & Simon) already in 2011 and it's time to unite Team Japan again!

Japanifiilistä ollaan pidetty myös yllä Rakkautta & Anarkiaa festivaalin merkeissä, käytiin nimittäin viikko sitten kattomassa Ryuzo and his seven henchmen -elokuva ja eilen vielä Ghiblin uutuus Marnie - tyttö ikkunassa. Ryuzo oli taattua japanihuumoria höystettynä yakuza-elementeillä, eikä kyllä tarvinnu pettyä! Nauroin melkein koko elokuvan alusta loppuun! Oon aina ollu sitä mieltä, et japanilaiset ja kiinalaiset osaa tehä hyvää komediaa mut esim. brittien huumori ei taas iske muhun ollenkaan! Outoa.. XD Anyhow, Ryuzo oli ihan älyttömän hauska alusta loppuun eikä todellakaan ottanut itteään liian vakavasti.

We have hyped this trip in so many ways including few movies that we saw at the Love & Anarchy movie festival. First movie was called Ryuzo and his seven henchmen which we went to see a week ago, and the second was Studio Ghibli's new movie called When Marnie was there. Ryuzo was a comedy film about old yakuza farts and it was hilarious!! Omg I almost laughed the entire movie! I've always thought that Japanese and Chinese people know how to do great comedy, but on the other hand I don't get brittish humor at all! Weird.. XD Anyhow, Ryuzo was incredibly funny from the start to the end and it didn't take itself too seriously.

Ghiblin Marnie - tyttö ikkunassa olikin sitten vähän toisenlaisempi kokemus verrattuna Ryuzoon. Japanissa tää leffa on ilmestynyt jo vuosi sitten ja nyt R&A festivaaleilla päästiin näkemään ennakkonäytös ennen varsinaista Suomen ensi-iltaa joka on ens perjantaina 2.10. Ennakkonäytöksessä oli vieraana leffan ohjaaja Hiromasa Yonebayashi ja tuottaja Yoshiaki Nishimura. Ennen elokuvaa oli myös mahdollisuus saada ohjaajan nimmari ja 30 ensimmäistä sai vielä Marnie-julisteet kaupan päälle! Onnistuttiin Paten kanssa molemmat saamaan omat julisteet ja niihin sai vielä pyytää piirustukset itse ohjaajalta! Mä pyysin Marnien kuvaa jolla on kissankorvat ja sekä tulkki, että Hiromasa alko nauramaan ja pahoitteli jo etukäteen työn laatua, koska se oli ensimmäinen kerta kun joku pyys kissankorvia sen hahmoille. Sain kuitenkin lopulta ultra söpön kuvan Marniesta kissankorvilla enkä vois olla ilosempi! Pate vuorollaan päätti sitten olla erilainen ja kysy siltä ohjaajlta, että voisko se piirtää sen päähenkilöPOJAN siihen julisteeseen ja sai hetken hiljasuuden jälkeen vaan vastaukseks: "It's a girl..." X'DD EPIC FAIL!

On the contrary the Ghibli movie When Marnie was there was a whole different story compared to Ryuzo. The movie came out in Japan a year ago and we got to see the premiere of the film here at the movie festival even before the Finnish release date. They also had the director Hiromasa Yonebayashi and the producer Yoshiaki Nishimura there as guests of honor and there was an autograph signing event before the movie. For the first 30 people they gave huge Marnie posters with original art made by Mr. Yonebayashi! We were lucky enough to get our own posters with Pat and I even asked the director to draw Marnie with kitty ears onto my poster! Both the interpreter and Mr. Yonebayashi laughed at my request since it was the first time anyone asked something like that! But in the end he drew Marnie with kitty ears for me!! I was so happy! When it was Pat's turn he decided to be a bit different and asked the director to draw the main character BOY onto his posters. The director was quiet for a few seconds and then answered to Pat: "It's a girl..." X'DD EPIC FAIL!

Itse leffa oli täysin toisenlainen mitä odotin, mut ehdottomasti kattomisen arvonen teos! Ghiblin laatu näkyy ja kuuluu koko elokuvan ajan ja kaikkia yksityiskohtia tekis mieli vaan jäädä ihastelemaan ja ihmettelemään pidemmäksikin aikaa! Oli myöskin tosi mielenkiintosta nähdä Ghiblin elokuva jossa ei ole pienintäkään Miyazakin kosketusta. Ja täytyy nyt myöntää, et kyllä se Ghibli jää osaaviin käsiin mestari Miyazakin jälkeenkin!

The movie itself was completely different than I had expected but definitely a master piece worth watching! The trusty "Ghibli quality" was there to be seen and heard for the whole time and at some point I just wanted to pause the movie and admire all the little details in it! It was also interesting to see a whole new Ghibli movie without any touch from Miyazaki in it. And I have to admit that the future of Studio Ghibli really is in capable hands even without master Miyazaki!

Alotettiin myöskin parin kuukauden tauon jälkeen taas Final Fantasy XIV nettipeli. Ostettiin molemmille vielä Heavensward lisärit ja kaikki vapaa-aika onkin kulunu vaan sen tahkomiseen. Lisärin myötä Eorzean maailma sai kivasti uusia alueita ja LENTÄVÄT RATSUT! Ahhh sitä on odotettu!! Vedettiin myöskin lisärin eka bosse tappelu läpi ja vitsi se oli makee! Tuskin maltan odottaa mitä kaikkea sieltä tulee vielä lisää!

After a few months of absence we returned to play Final Fantasy XIV again! We bought the new expansion packs, Heavensward, for the both of us and we've been doing nothing else with our free time than playing the game. Within the expansion the world of Eorzea got quite many new areas and FLYING MOUNTS!! Ahhh we've been waiting for them forever!! We also played through the expansions first boss battle and damn it was awesome! Can't wait to see what the future has in hold for us!

Toivoisin niin, et meijän kaverit innostuis pelaamaan tota enemmän, et sais kunnon joukon kasaan. Tällä hetkellä tasan yks kaveri on pelannu ittensä korkeille leveleille ja tekee meijän kanssa raideja ja muita end game juttuja. Kaikki aina alottaa innoissaan mut lopettaa sit kesken leikin... Buu! (;___;) Jos joku lukijoista pelaa tai on alottelemassa niin me pelataan EU:n Cerberus-serverillä, saa tulla nykimään hihasta! *wink wink* XD

Mutta eipä mulla muuta tällä kertaa! Päiviä lasketaan ja aikaa kulutetaan pelaamalla, töissä käymällä ja kissoja kiusaamalla.... Näihin kuviin ja tunnelmiin, ens kertaan!!

I really hope that more of our friends would get into the game so we could get a nice, small group to play together with. At the moment only one of our friends plays the game regularly and do raids and all other end game stuff with us. Everyone always starts the game with full of enthusiasm but after a few levels they just stop playing it... Buu! (;___;) If any of you readers play the game already or are starting to, we play at the EU's Cerberus server! *wink wink* XD

But that's all for now! We are counting days to Japan and spending all the time we have playing games, working and teasing our kitty cats... Until next time!!

Nippon 2014 Part IV: Monster Hunters in Eorzea (pic heavy)

Sopivasti viime reissun aikana Tokiossa oli myös meneillään meijän lempipelin, Monster Hunterin, 10th anniversary ja sitä varten oli tehty ihan oma näyttely Shibuyaan! Sinnehän oli siis mentävä hinnalla millä hyvänsä. Valitettavasti näyttelyssä ei saanu kuvata kun tietyillä aluella, mutta niinhän se taitaa olla melkeinpä kaikissa näyttelyissä joten ymmärtäähän sen. Itse näyttely oli paljon isompi mitä osasin odottaakaan ja kokonaisuudessaan tosi laaja! Harvoin sitä muutenkaan näkee mitään kunnon näyttelyä joka on omistettu ainoastaan yhelle pelisarjalle ja kyseisen sarjan kovina faneina toi oli meille tosi iso juttu vaikkei ihan kaikkea ymmärrettykään kielimuurin takia. :D

Conveniently during our trip to Tokyo, our favourite game series, Monster Hunter, celebrated it's 10th anniversary and there was an exhibition held for it in Shibuya! That was a must-see for us, no matter the cost! Unfortunately photography was not allowed except for few areas but I guess that's how it goes in most of the exhibitions nowadays. The exhibition was much bigger than I had expected and all in all it was a really comprehensive experience. You rarely see an exhibition of that scale devoted to one game only, and as a huge Monster Hunter fans, this exhibition was really a big thing for us despite the language barrier. :D

Näyttelyn jälkeen oli pieni kahvila mistä sai vielä ostaa Monster Hunter ruokia. Otettiin vaan yks hodari ja pelistä tuttu potion-juoma (joka olikin vaan tavallista Spriteä tai 7up:ia) koska ei oltu kauheen nälissämme. En oo vieläkään ihan varma, että saiko sitä potion-juomakuppia ottaa mukaan vai olisko se pitäny palauttaa muiden astioiden mukana muttaaah.... otettiin omamme mukaan. Fuck the police! XDD

After the exhibition there was a small café where you could get your Monster Hunter meal. We only bought one hot dog and a potion drink (which ended up being just normal Sprite or 7up) since we weren't that hungry. I'm still not sure if it was allowed to take the potion bottle with us or should we have returned it but we ended up takin the bottle with us.... Fuck the police! XDD

Museon jälkeen oli aika ottaakin nokka kohti Akihabaraa, koska oltiin tehty aiemmin pöytävaraus Final Fantasy XIV-kahvila Eorzeaan. Nimensä mukaisesti kahvila/ravintola on FF14-teemaravintola, joka on toteutettu pelissä esiintyvän Carline Canopy-rakennuksen mukaan. Pöytävaraus täyty tosissaan tehdä etukäteen, koska itse kahvila on melkosen pieni ja asiakkaita mahtuu kerrallaan sisään ehkä n. 25. Ravintolassa oli myöskin kahden (tai kahen ja puolen? ei voi muistaa XD) tunnin aikaraja per ryhmä, jonka jälkeen paikka siivotaan ja otetaan uudet asiakkaat sisään. Kaksi tuntia oli kuitenkin enemmän kun tarpeeks mahan täyttämiseen!

After the exhibition it was time to go back to Akihabara because we had made a reservation at Final Fantasy XIV Cafë Eorzea. Eorzea cafe/restaurant is modelled after the in-game location called Carline Canopy. The reservation had to be made beforehand because the place is relatively small and there's place for about 25 people. You can stay there for two hours (or two and a half? can't remember XD) at max and after that they clean the place and welcomes new customers. Two hours were more than enough to fill our bellies though!

 Kahvila oli todella kotoisa ja tunnelmakin oli ihan loistava! Työntekijät oli erittäin mukavia ja ruoka kaikessa omituisuudessaan oli tosi herkullista!! Juomapuoli olikin sitten vähän toinen tarina... Kaikki juomat näytti todella herkulliselta mut jotkut niistä oli vaan liian omituisia mun nirsoon makuun! XD Nautin kuitenkin kokonaisuudessaan koko illallisesta ja aiotaan todellakin mennä uudestaan sinne seuraavalla reissulla jos mahollista!

The café was really cozy and the atmoshpere in there was incredible! All the staff members were super nice and the food was all in its weirdness really delicious!! The drinks on the other hand weren't as good as they looked and some of them were just too weird for my picky taste! XD But I enjoyed dining in there and definetly will go again on our next trip if possible!

Ja kyllä... Se on suolaa, tossa sinisen lasin reunassa. Myöskin jokasen tilauksen mukana sai hienon lasinalusen jossa oli erilaisia FF-taidekuvia. Kukaan ei niitä kuitenkaan käyttäny lasinalusena ja mekin sujautettiin heti omamme laukkuun talteen sitä mukaa kun niitä saatiin. :D

And yes, that is salt on the edge of the blue glass. Also as a cool bonus, with each food 
or drink ordered, you get a coaster featuring awesome FF-artwork. No one actually used them as a coasters and everytime we got a new one, we just quickly put it in my bag to safety. :D

Super söpöjä moogleja!! Kahvilassa saa kulkea ja valokuvata vapaasti ja esillä on myös muutamia pelin aseita. Keskellä kahvilaa on pitkula pöytä täynnä tietokoneita joissa voi pelata FFXIV:Realm Reborn:ia kun on maha täynnä! Oikeesti vitsi miten makeeta!! Suosittelen kaikille faneille ja ei-faneille käymään Eorzeassa jos Tokion reissu on tähtäimessä. On sen arvosta, lupaan! ^w^

Super cute moogles!! You can roam around the cafe and take photos freely and there's also few weapons from the game on display too. In the middle of the cafe is a counter full of computers where you can play FFXIV:Realm Reborn when you're finished eating! How cool is that?! I recommend from the bottom of my heart to visit Eorzea if you're going to Tokyo! Even if you're not fan of the game it's going to be worth your time, I promise! ^w^

Final Fantasy XIV

Mulla on ollu jo pitkään kauhee himo päästä pelaamaan taas kunnolla jotain mmorpg:tä mut jotenkin ei oo vaan löytyny sellasta jota jaksais mättää kauemmin kun pari päivää. Aattelin jo, et oon ihan menetetty tapaus noiden nettipelien suhteen ku edes Biowaren Star Wars: The old republic ei jaksanu kiinnostaa ku ehkä pari viikkoa. Ainoo peli mitä aikoinaan oon jaksanu Paten kanssa pelata oikein urakalla oli sellanen kauhee ilmaisnettipeli ku Flyff. XD En tiiä mikä siinä sillon oli niin kiehtovaa, mut sitä tuli tahkottua monta kuukautta ihan taukoomatta.

I've had a terrible craving to play some mmorpg for a long time now but somehow I just haven't found one that would keep me entertained more than a few days. I started to think tha I'm a lost case since even the Bioware's Star Wars: The old republic didn't keep me interested more than two weeks or so. The only mmo-game that I played long time ago like crazy was this terrible freebie game called Flyff. XD I don't know what was so facinating about that game back then but I played it for many months!

Viime kuun lopulla alkoi sitten ilmanen beta-testaus Final Fantasy XIV: Realm reborn PS4-versiosta ja alotin sen. Levutin itteni parissa illassa lvl 10 asti ja se oli sitten siinä. Seuraavana päivänä kävin ostamassa PS3-version halvalla Konsolinetistä ja Patelle hommattiin Steamin alennuksesta oma versio tietokoneelle. Nyt ollaan pelattu sitä muutaman päivän ja oon ihan koukussa! Suurin syy varmaan myös siihen miks jaksan tota nyt pelata on se, että sitä voi pelaa pleikalla. Mä nimittäin inhoon tietokoneella pelaamista. XD

At the end of last month started the free beta testing of Final Fantasy XIV: Realm reborn for PS4 and I decided to give it a go. I played it few nights and got to lvl 10 and then I was hooked. On the next day I went to buy the PS3-version of the game for me and PC-version from Steam for Pat. We've been playing it few days now and I'm addicted! One of the biggest reasons for that is propably the fact that I can play it with PlayStation. I hate playing with PC. XD

Toi PS3-versio on kyllä ihan kauheen näkönen ku kerkesin tottua jo siihen PS4-versioon, mut ONNEKSI Square on ihana ja sitten huhtikuussa kun toi peli julkastaan PS4:lle niin PS3-pelin omistajat saa päivittää sen ILMATTEEKSI PS4-versioon ja jatkaa sitten sillä pelaamista! Ihan mieletön diili ottaen huomioon et sain ton peruspelin vaan 16 eurolla. :D

The PS3-version of the game looks terrible since I got accustomed to the PS4-version first, but FORTUNATELY Square Enix is a dear and lets you upgrade the PS3-version to PS4-version for FREE when the game comes out in April!! That's an incredible deal considering that I bought the game only for 16 euros!! :D

Oon vielä melko alkutekijöissä siin pelissä, enkä oo alotuspaikastakaan päässy pois, mut mä oon jo ihan rakastunu mun hahmoon!! En tiiä miks mä aina kiinnyn omiin hahmoihin ihan liikaa... XDD En kestä kun toi kissarotu on niin kuolettavan sulonen tossa pelissä!! ♥ Siellä on myös tällä hetkellä meneillään ihana "Little Ladies Day"-eventti ja koko kylä on täynnä kirsikankukkapuita ja ilmassa leijuu kirsikankukkien terälehtiä! Awwhh, I'm in love!!

I'm still at the very beginning of the game but I absolutely love, love, LOVE my character!! I have no idea why I always get so attached to my own characters.. XDD The cat-race in the game is just so too damn adorable!! ♥ There's also the "Little Ladies Day"-event right now and the whole village, where I'm at, is coverd with cherry blossom trees and petals falling through the air all the time! Awwhh, I'm in love!!

Päivittelen sitten lisää kun seikkailu jatkuu ja päästään jopa pelaamaan yhessä Paten kanssa. Mut oli pakko tulla vähän hehkuttamaan ku oon ihan intoa täynnä, et vihdoin löyty taas joku MMO jota jaksaa tahkota!!

I'll keep you updated about my adventures and when we finally get to play together with Pat. I just had to come and hype a little bit about this since I'm so excited! Finally after a long search I found a great MMO!

Pelaan Chaoksen Cerberus(EU)-serverillä joten jos joku sattuu siellä pelailemaan niin saa lisätä kamuksi (nimi: Poara La'ryu)! Tai jos joku ei pelaa, niin on korkea aika kokeilla, hop hop!! Muh muh muh! XD
