"Relax... Take it eeeee-eeeeasy!"

Nyt on ihka ensimmäisestä conista selviydytty ja ei voi kyllä muuta sanoa kuin: LISÄÄ KIITOS!! Meijän ensikosketus Suomen coneihin olis tuskin ollut yhtä onnistunut ilman täydellistä coniseuraa, joten iso kiitos Safirille, Sargille, Tiinyanille + pojille (joiden nimiä ei koskaan saatu tietää!) aivan mahtavasta seurasta!!

Our very first anime convention is now sadly over and all I can say is: I WANT MOAR!! The con would not have been so perfect without the great people we had there with us, so a BIG thank you to Safir, Sarg, Tiinyan + the boys for the awesome company!!



Lähettiin Paten kanssa jo perjantaiaamuna kohti Tamperetta koska juhlittiin samalla vähän meijän 3-vuotis hääpäivääkin. (> 3<) Yövyttiin koko reissu Scandic-hotellissa joka oli kyllä nappivalinta sijaintinsa puolesta ja vaikutti muutenkin kauheen luksusmestalta! Perjantai kuluikin melkein kokonaan Tampereen keskustaa tutkiessa ja hyvää ruokaa syödessä. En edes muista koska viimeks oisin käyny saman päivän aikana pari kertaa kunnon ravintolassa syömässä! Tampere vaikutti kyllä näin nopeen vilkasun perusteella varsin mukavalta kaupungilta ja voisin kyllä miellään käydä uudestaankin! Mä kun en oo Lahtea pidemmälle Suomen sisällä ennen matkustanu... XD

We got to Tampere already on Friday with Pat so we could celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. (> 3<)  We stayed in a hotel that was very close to the train station (conveniently close to Tampere-talo as well) and the hotel itself was super fancy! Friday came and went while exploring the city and eating good food! I can't even remember when I've been in a restaurant more than once a day! Tampere was a real nice city and I wouldn't mind going there again!

Lauantaina oltiin hyvissä ajoin Tampere-talolla eikä lippujakaan tarvinnu siinä vaiheessa kauheen kauaa jonottaa. Avajaisten jälkeen käytiin pyörähtämässä taidekuja läpi, moikkaamassa meijän kaveria joka oli siellä myymässä ja mentiin odottelemaan Safiria ja Sargia jotka saapukin melkein heti. Minä ja Pate cosplayattiin (onko toi edes sana?) Sonicoa ja Kitamura-manageria, joskin mun Sonico oli vähän sellanen laiska rock-Sonico kun kaikki aikasemmat suunnitelmat meni plörinäks. XD Paten pukuun olin kyllä erityisen tyytyväinen! Olin kans super ilonen siitä, et muutamat ihmiset rohkeni tulla pyytämään kuvia! :3

On saturday we went early to Tampere-talo and got the tickets without too much hassle or waiting in lines. After the opening ceremony we went to visit our friend in the artist alley and soon after that we met with Safir and Sarg. I was cosplaying Super Sonico and Pat was my manager Kitamura-san. My outfit was some kind of lazy ass rock-Sonico but I'm very pleased how Pat's cosplay turned out! I was overjoyed when few people were brave enough to come ask a picture of us!! :3

Iltapäivällä olikin sitten kauan odotetut cosplay-kisat joihin ei kyllä varmasti oltais saatu lippua ilman  ihanaa Tiinyania (+ poikia)!! Miljoonasti vielä kiitos niistä! m(_  _)m Cosplay-kisoista olin tosi ilosesti yllättyny! Showt oli mukavaa kateltavaa ja jotkut puvut ihan törkeen upeita vaikken aina hahmoja tunnistanutkaan. *kiven alla kasvanut*

Finally in the afternoon there was the cosplay competition I'd been waiting for and we wouldn't have got the tickets without the help of lovely Tiinyan (+ boys). The competition itself surprised me quite positively! All the costumes and shows were so well crafted and really fun to watch! I enjoyed every performance even though I didn't always recognize the characters.

I love when couples do cosplay together! These costumes are from Phantasy Star Online.

My absolute favorite from the whole cosplay competition. THEY LOOK PERFECT and damn those outfits are COOL with LED-lights and all!! They'll always be number 1 for me (even though they ranked 2nd ;___; ). I'm not familiar with the series.

Cosplay-kisan jälkeen olikin vuorossa vihdoin ja viimein mun päivän kohokohta, eli AMV-kisa! Olisin voinu katella niitä videoita vaikka koko illan ja kisan jälkeen iski hirvee inspis alkaa tekemään itekin niitä! XD Voitot meni kyllä kaikissa osa-alueissa täysin oikeisiin osotteisiin ja muutenkin kaikki videot oli tosi laadukkaita! Tässä vielä mun lempparit:

After the cosplay contest was the highlight of my day a.k.a AMV-competition! I could have watched those videos all night long and after watching so many great videos I got the urge to make AMV's as well. XD The winners of each categories really deserved their prices and the quality of all the videos were awesome! Here's my favorites:







AMV-kisan jälkeen lähettiin Burger Kingiin syömään ja sieltä Safir & Sarg tuli vielä meijän hotellille jatkoille. Höpöteltiin niitä näitä monta tuntia ja se oli kyllä taas yks ikimuistosimmista ja hauskoimmista illoista ikinä, kaikkine kommelluksineenkin... XD

Right after the AMV-show we decided to call it a day, and went to catch something to eat and head straight to our hotel with Safir & Sarg. We talked about this and that for many hours and it was definitely one of those nights you'll never forget! I had so much fun!

Sunnuntai alkokin sillä, et me mentiin Safirin kanssa vuorostaan jonottama kaikille muille cosplay-kisan lippuja. Ei saatu yhtä hyviä paikkoja kun aiemmin mutta eipä se itse katselukokemusta kauheesti haitannu. Esityskisa oli tosi laadukas vaikka jälleen monet hahmot oli mulle täysin tuntemattomia.

Sunday started with Safir and me waiting in line for cosplay competition tickets for everyone else this time. The seats weren't as good as on Saturday (by "not so good" I mean the last freaking seats of the house) but they were okay. The performances were cute, fun to watch and very well put together (although many of the characters were yet again unknown to me).

Kisojen jälkeen pyörittiin vielä jonkin aikaa ympäriinsä kuvaamassa ihmisiä ja ettimässä viime hetken ostoksia. Lähettiin hyvissä ajoin kuitenkin kävelemään kohti bussipysäkkiä ja käytiin syömässä samalla. Bussimatka meni tosi nopeesti ja kotiin päästyä simahdettiin melkein saman tien! Kaiken kaikkiaan mulle jäi ihan törkeen hyvä fiilis Traconista ja haluun sinne ehdottomasti ens vuonna uudestaan! Seuraavana vuorossa olisikin ehkä Yukicon joten toivottavasti nähdään siellä!

When the competition ended we just roamed around Tampere-talo taking photos of people and tried to find some last minute purchases. Soon after, we decided to leave the convention and walk all the way back to the bus stop. The bus trip went faster than I thought and when we finally got home we passed away almost immediately. All in all I was super pleased with the convention and want to go there again next year! We are going to try to get tickets for this winters anime conventions as well, so hopefully we'll get lucky!

My summer anime list ★

I was supposed to make spring anime list some time ago, but never got around to actually do it so I decided to skip straight to summer animes. XD Few years back there was a looong period of time when I didn't watch anime almost at all, but since last winter I got hooked on anime again and nowadays we try to watch new episodes of our favorite shows as soon as they are aired. I mostly enjoy slice-of-life and comedy shows but on some rare occasions totally different kinds of shows might catch my eye (i.e. Kill la Kill). But now on to the list we go!

Spring leftovers:

Shokugeki no Souma

(comedy, ecchi, school, shounen)

The story centers on Yukihira Souma, a middle school student who is determined to surpass his father’s culinary skills. One day, his father decides to close down their family restaurant and hone his skills in Europe. Before leaving he enrolls Souma in an elite culinary school that is extremely difficult to enter with a graduation rate of only 10 percent. Will Souma be able to improve his skills, or will the kitchen prove to be too hot?

OMG this show is so brilliant!! Pat has read the manga and when he showed me the first episode of the anime adaptation of it I was instantly hooked! This anime is so extravagant and the animation is  top notch! All the main characters are funny, lovely (♥ Tadokoro ♥) and well balanced with each other, and the food looks absolutely delicious! If I have to say something negative about the series, it's the fact that this anime will make you hungry! Haha! If you've yet to know what a foodgasm is, you'll learn about it after the first episode of SnS!

Ore Monogatari!!
(comedy, slice of life, romance, school, shoujo)

Takeo Gouda is a giant guy with a giant heart. He spends his days peacefully with his super-popular-with-girls, yet insensitive childhood friend, Sunagawa. But one day when Takeo saves a girl named Yamato from a harasser on the train, his love life suddenly takes an incredible turn! Could this be the beginning of spring for Takeo?

This anime reminds me of Pat and me in so many ways, that there just isn't any other option than to love the show! I know it might be silly to compare your own relationship with some anime, but for me it makes the anime even more interesting and special if it has similarities with my life. (>w<) The story itself is really light and every episode just makes you smile like a jerk from the beginning to the end. Takeo's and Yamato's  relationship is so goddamn adorable that it makes me feel super warm and fuzzy on the inside every friggin' time! I hope this show never ends! Haha!

Himouto! Umaru-chan

(comedy, slice of life, school)

Umaru is a renowned beautiful 16-year-old girl in town, living with her elder brother Taihei. She acts a perfect sister with a kind heart, intelligence and popularity, who everybody admires. So who would believe how true Umaru is at home? Sleeping, gaming, watching TV, eating junk food, drinking cola… that's almost all she does at home, leaving all the housework to her brother.

Pat says that this show is an accurate documentation of my life! XD And I must admit that I see a lot of similarities in my and Umaru's personalities... Don't know if that's a good thing, though! Ehehe... Anyhow, Umaru-chan is a great comedy and fun to watch! There's only two episodes out so I don't know much about the story yet and I have only read few volumes of the manga as well. Video games,  closet otaku, junk food, funny jokes... what else do you need? This is one of my favorite anime for this summer! (( I even pre-ordered Umaru nendoroid before I knew nothing about the series! ))

Gakkou Gurashi!

(mystery, horror, school, slice of life, supernatural)

Takeya Yuki is in love with the school. For her, it's a wonderful place, where she enjoys her school activities, especially the activities of her club: School Life Club. The club has Rii-chan as the president, Kurumi-chan as another member, and the teacher, Megu-nee, always there for them. Yes, she is in love with her school... in her mind. Because, for her, the reality of the school and their club's activities is way too hard to be perceived...

I've only seen the first episode of this but it was really enjoyable! And kinda shocking at the end of the episode, so it left me wanted to know more... right now! I don't know if this is going to be an upbeat, happy-go-lucky anime or a some sort of horror drama so I'm really curious about this one! At least the characters are super cute (the main character looks like a young Sonico! >3<).

Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai

(comedy, ecchi, school)

Sixteen years after the "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising" banned coarse language in the country, Tanukichi Okuma enrolls in the country's leading elite public morals school and is soon invited into the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its founder, Ayame Kajou. As a member blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the talented student council president Anna (for whom Tanukichi has a crush on).

After the first episode I think this will be the funnies anime on this season! There is a lot of dirty jokes and perverted humor without it being too gross. XD The other main protagonist is a girl with a panties on her face so it can't be nothing else than a great fun! I don't know much about the story yet, but if you don't get upset about dirty jokes I really recommend to check this one out! Laughs guaranteed!

Kangoku Gakuen 

(comedy, ecchi, school)

On the outskirts of Tokyo stands Hachimitsu Private Academy, a storied all-girls boarding school for elite young women full of potential and good breeding. But as the new school year rolls around, one tradition is going out the window: For the first time in the school's long history, boys are being allowed to enroll. But on the first day of school, only five boys make the cut. Kiyoshi Fujino, one of the lucky few, is thrilled by this discovery, his heart leaping with joy at the thought of being surrounded by all those girls, day in and day out. But little does he know of the shocking fate that awaits him.

I have read the manga which is a combination of funny and sometimes really dirty things, so I'm eager to see how loyal this anime will be to the original work. XD The first episode was fun to watch and the characters were much like in the manga! The facial expressions were almost identical which is a great detail in my opinion! But now I just want to see how far the anime adaptation dares to go... Haha!

Bikini Warriors

(action, comedy, ecchi, fantasy)

Set in an RPG world with swords and magic, warriors must form a party to defeat the demon lord. But, these warriors are all wearing Bikini armor!

I knew right away that this is going to be a perfect anime for me! Pretty girls with big boobies and almost nothing to wear! Perfect! Haha! No but seriously I was surprised how funny this short series actually was! The episodes runs about 4 minutes so it's quick fun for everyone! I would love to show the first episode to all the feminists who complain about female characters armors (in games or in anime/cartoons/movies) which shows too much skin, and see how they react to it! I'm an awful person I know... Sorry! XD

すーぱーそに子

Super Sonicon anime "SoniAni: Super Sonico The Animation" alko viime maanantaina ja inspaannuin siitä niin paljon, et päätin omistaa kokonaisen postauksen Sonicolle. On se sen arvonen tyttö! ( ˘ ³˘)❤

Kuten aiemmin oon maininnu, Sonico on yks mun SMS-lempparikolmikosta (Sonico, Miku, Sena) ja ite tutustuin hahmoon joku 3 vuotta sitten Japanissa. Sonicon on suunnitellut Nitroplus-nimisellä visual noveleita tekevällä firmalla työskentelevä Tsuji Sanada ja Sonico onkin kyseisen firman maskotti. Ensimmäisen kerran Sonico nähtiin Nitroplussan jokavuotisella "Nitro Super Sonico" -musiikkifestareilla vuonna 2006. Sonico on tehny 3 musiikkialbumia, sillä on oma visual novel-peli ja se tekee cameoita useissa eri peleissä.

Persoonaltaan Sonico on perus 18-vuotias koulua käyvä tyttö. Tunnusmerkkinä on tottakai vaaleenpunanen tukka, punaset silmät ja isot kuulokkeet (ja tissit). Sonico on FAV (First Cosmic Velocity)-nimisen bändin kitaristi sekä solisti. Animessa ja peleissä Sonico työskentelee koulun ohella myöskin mallina. Animessa ite näin ensimmäistä kertaa Sonicon luonnetta ja se vaikuttaa tosi herttaselta, kiltiltä ja miellyttämisen haluselta. Sonicoa ääninäyttelee Ayano Yamamoto (mm. Steins;Gate & Fire Emblem: Awakening) ja se suoriutuu hommastaan täydellisesti. （人´∀`*）

Sonico on Japanissa tosi suosittu ja kyllä se pikku hiljaa alkaa vallottamaan länsimaistenki jäykkisten sydämiä, joten tottakai siitä on tehty myös jos jonkinäköstä tavaraa aina kännykoruista ja "health" mousepadeista figuureihin ja t-paitoihin asti. Mun oma Sonico-kokoelma on vielä suhteellisen pieni, mut pikku hiljaa hyvä tulee! Tällä hetkellä on onneks 3 Sonico-figuuria ennakkotilauksessa joten kasvua luvassa! Huhuhu... Tässä nyt pari kuvaa mun toistaseks melko säälittävästä kokoelmasta (*´∀`*):

Sonico artbook

Anyhow, katoin maanantaina Crunchyrollista SoniAnin ekan jakson heti ku se ilmesty ja rakastuin. Suurimpana syynä ofkoorse Sonico, mut muutenki mä tykkään kattoo tollasii slice of life-animeita ja toi vaikuttaa just sellaselt ihanan lepposalta sarjalta. Plus Sonicolla on 5 super fluffya kissaa!! Tarinaa en vielä pysty sen pahemmin arvostelemaan ku en tiiä yhtään miten se tästä kehittyy, mut odotan kyllä innolla ja mielenkiinnolla! Sonico on erittäin busty & curvy girl joten luvassa on myös paljon fanserviceä. Ainakin täs ekassa jaksossa fanboys & -girls sai heti silmäniloa ku Sonico kävi bikini-kuvauksissa... :D Raukka meinas myöskin joutuu full naked koska oli liian kiltti kieltäytyäkseen, mut onneks Sonicon badass Manager-sama tuli ja pelasti tilanteen!

Fanserviceä parhaimmillaan! XD

Jaksossa esiteltiin myöskin pikasesti Sonicon mummo jota Sonico käy auttamassa pienessä ramen-kuppilassa. Seki oli niin herttanen vaaleenpunasine hiuksineen, etten kestä! ♡(˃͈ દ ˂͈  ) Pikaset esittelyt sai myöskin Sonicon bändin 2 muuta jäsentä Suzu ja Fuuri, mut niitä nähdään tulevissa jaksoissa varmasti paljon enemmän! Eka jakso jätti mulle ainakin tosi hyvän fiiliksen, enkä jaksais odottaa ens viikkoon! Jos slice of life ja pieni fanservice ei haittaa ni suosittelen ainaki vilkasemaan ekan jakson jos ei muuta. I regret nothing!!



PS. Ens viikolla (ehkä) mulle saapuu ihka ensimmäinen 23 cm tuttavuus ja nyt täytyy alkaa miettiä nimeä..! ;)

Love Live! School Idol Project on yks mun lempianimeista ja oikeestaan ainoo kunnon lemppari idoli-ryhmäkin. ❤ Pystyn jopa sanomaan, et tykkään jokaisesta ryhmän jäsenestä, vaikka kyllä lempparit löytyy tietysti! Kuvassa näkyvä Kousaka Honoka Snow Halation ver. prize-figuuri oli yks onnekas löytö viime Japanin reissulla! Love Live on kuitenki vielä niin uus animesarja (alko viime tammikuussa), ettei siitä paljoa figuja meinannu löytyä joten voi vaan kuvitella kuinka nopeesti tää tyttönen lähti mun mukaan ku sen hyllyssä näin. :D Snow Halation-biisi on kuudesta "live"-videosta (sellasia kunnolla tehtyjä musavideoita) toka ja mun mielestä se on tosi nätti, lepposa ja siitä tulee talvinen fiilis. Kannattaa kattoa! ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

Good evening!!

Meillä on ollu pari viime viikkoa ihan hirveetä kiirettä koulussa ja kotona ja tuntuu siltä, ettei oo päässy kunnolla rauhottumaan oikein ollenkaa. :D Saatiin koulussa ryhmätehtäväks 5 minuutin lyhytelokuvan tekeminen greenscreeniä ja normaalia videokuvaa käyttäen ja sen kyl sanon, et musta ei elokuva-alan työntekijää tule vaikka pakotettais! Se oli niin rankkaa!! Σ(ﾟДﾟ ) Varsinki kaikkien greenscreen kohtausten editointi..... (Ｔ▽Ｔ) Nyt meil sentään vihdoin alko uus ryhmäprojekti jossa pitää sunnitella ja tehä point and click-seikkailupeli! Tuskin maltan odottaa, et päästään vauhtiin!

Ollaan myöskin vähän myllerretty meijän kämppää koska saatiin vihdoin ja viimein uus sohva, telkkaritaso ja lasivitriini figuille!! Oli kyllä aikakin, nimittäin siihen edelliseen sohvaan ku istu ni se alko imee ihmisiä hitaasti jonneki syvimpään helvettiin ku ei jousitukset enää pelannu. Plus meijän Prinsessa Nami oli päättäny tehä siit sohvasta sen personal litter box joten sitä suuremmalla syyllä haluttiin mokomasta rotiskosta eroon. Nimittäin kissankusen haju ei tosissaan oo mikään maailman helpoin homma saada pois sohvasta.... XD Anyhow, nyt on uudet mööpelit ja olkkari näyttää heti kotosammalta!

Juhlittiin me vähän viime viikonloppuna Paten synttäreitäkin. Käytiin kattomassa Thor 2 ja sit meil kuhisikin kavereita koko viikonlopun. Ostin Patelle salaa lahjaks S.H.Figuartsin Friezan, koska se on ettiny ja halunnu sitä jo vaikka kuinka kauan. Satuin ite bongaamaan sen eBayssa suht edullisesti ni pakkohan se oli tilata. Ja Pate oli ku 6-vuotias ku se avas sen paketin ja näki mitä siel oli! ♥(˃͈ દ ˂͈  ) Ostin Patelle kans Asscreedin sarjiskokoelman joka kyl vähän jäi huomiotta ku Frieza avattiin paketista... Btw jos joku ihmettelee, ni toi "Iraq Lobster" tos mun taiteilemassa synttärikortissa on Family Guysta ja se piristää aina jos on vähänkää masis! XD

Oon kattonu ihan hulluna animeakin viime aikoina ja nyt vasta sain aikaseks pällistellä Puella Magi Madoka Magicanki läpi! Oon vähän jäljessä mut ei se mitään... Se oli ihan kivaa kateltavaa, ehkä vähän turhan angsti mun makuun mut se sai sen anteeks koska siin oli Kajiura Yukin musiikit. X"DD Plus se on hyvin erilainen taikatyttösarja mikä oli hyvä juttu. Oon paria muutakin sarjaa nyt vähän tiiviimmin seurannu mm. Log Horizon, Date-A-Live ja NouCome (aka My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy - phew mikä nimi!!). Log Horizon on yks uus lemppari koska Sword Art Online-rip off ja kissamies Nyanta! （人´∀`*） Pitäis kanssa alottaa vilkuilemaan Kill la Killiä, mut vielä en oo saanu sitä aikaseks. Mun täytyy selvästi keksii itelleni mitä tahansa tekemistä, et saan vaan ajatukset pois tuol kaapissa lojuvista uusista figuista jotka saan vasta jouluna.... Hhnnnnggghh... En tiiä miten tuun pärjää!!

Mut nyt meen kattomaan tissejä pro-wrestlingiä, eli viimesimmän jakson Wanna Be the Strongest in the World! Buh-bye!!
