Umaru and friends in Tokyo

 Heissulivei! Viime japanin reissusta en oo paljoa vielä kerenny tänne blogin puolelle jupista, mutta halusin silti jakaa muutamat kuvat mitä tuli otettua nendoroideista reissun aikana. Mulla oli Umaru-chan mukana, koska se oli helppo tasapainotella minne tahansa ton hamsteriviittansa avulla ja sillä oli paljon vaihtonaamoja! Kaikki mahtu vielä kätevästi tollaseen pieneen Fuji-vuori pussukkaan jota oli helppo kantaa laukussa mukana. Kaikesta helppoudesta huolimatta Umaru pääs ulkoilemaan melko harvoin kun viiletettiin tukka putkella ympäri Tokiota... ( ;___; )

Helloo~! I haven't posted much about our last trip to Japan but now I want to share few of the pictures I took of our nendoroids in Tokyo. I had Umaru-chan with me because she was super easy to pose thanks to her hamster-cape and she had multiple different faceplates! Umaru and all her parts fitted nicely in that Mt. Fuji pouch and it was really handy to carry it in my bag. Despite being easy to carry and pose, I didn't have time to photograph her that often unfortunately... ( ;___; )

Hopefully these few pictures will brighten everyones day even a little bit! ^w^

Mun kaverilla, Marialla, oli Jiji Touken Ranbusta mukana. Umarusta ja Jijistä tuli heti kavereita!!

Käytiin myös Akihabaran Kanda pyhäköllä joka on tällä hetkellä varsinkin tunnettu Love Liven takia. Nozomista on jopa tullut temppelin virallinen maskotti! Niin hienoa! Tässä meijän söpö shrine maiden Nozomi kannustamassa kaikkia vierailijoita!

We also visited Kanda shrine in Akihabara which is nowadays known best for the Love Live anime. Nozomi has even become the shrines official mascot! That is so cool! Here's our cute shrine maiden Nozomi cheering for everyone visiting there!

Umarun seikkailut jatkuu Uenossa! Löydettiin ekaa kertaa ikinä Uenon puistosta tällanen vanha ja pieni temppelialue nimeltä Toshogu shrine. Japanin temppelit on kyllä toinen toistaan upeemman näkösiä ilmestyksiä ja niissä vieraillessa tulee aina jotenkin tosi rauhallinen ja seesteinen olo. On ihanaa kaiken sen hulinan ja kiireen keskellä jäädä välillä rauhottumaan ja nauttimaan hetken aikaa Japanin hengellisestäkin puolesta.

Umaru's adventures continue in Ueno! We found first time ever this small and really old temple ground called Toshogu shrine in Ueno Park. The temples in Japan are gorgeous sights one after another and almost every time while visiting them I get this relaxed and somewhat tranquil feeling. I love it when in the midst of all the fuss and hurry, they have these small sanctuaries where you can just take a deep breath and enjoy the spiritual side of Japan as well.

Pitkän päivän jälkeen olikin aika saada mahaan täytettä! Japanin curryt on kyllä ihan parhaita mitä oon koskaan syöny! Älyttömän hyvää! Nyyh, nää ruokakuvat tekee vaan nälkäseks....

After a long day of shrines and playing outdoors, it was time to get something to eat! Japan has one of the best currys I've ever had! Sooooo delicious! These pictures are making me hungry... *sob*

 Siinäpä se tältä erää! Koitan postailla välillä lisää Japanin reissulta kuvia sitä mukaan kun saan muokattua niitä siedettävään kuntoon. :D Ens kerralla kun oon reissussa niin täytyy kyllä ottaa monipuolisemmin kuvia nendoroideista!

Noniin! Nyt näin kuukauden jälkeen on vihdoin kaikki figuurit saatu aseteltua omille paikoilleen ja uusia julisteitakin saatu seinille. Kaiken krääsän kuvaaminen oli kyllä haastava homma enkä oikein edes tiedä miten kaiken ois parhaiten saanu kuvattua, joten koittakaan kestää tätä tavaroiden sekamelskaa... (ja kamalalaatusia kuvia!) XD

Okay! Month has passed since our Japan trip and we've finally managed to organize all our new figures on displays and put few new posters on the walls as well! It was such a hassle to try to take pictures of all the things I bought and I didn't know which was the best way to show everything so the pics are a bit messy (and crappy quality)... Sorry about that. XD

Tokio on varsinkin tällasen keräilijän lompakolle todella petollinen paikka ja vaikka oltiin taas kerran otettu mukamas reilusti rahaa mukaan, niin penniäkään ei reissulta jääny käteen... Jenin kurssi oli tälläkin kertaa meille todella suotuisa eikä figuurien hinnatkaan ollu ihan taivaissa, mutta sen sijaan joidenkin figujen saatavuus oli melkein olematon! Sentään löysin kaikki tärkeimmät mitä halusinkin, mutta kyllä se oli sellasen metsästyksen ja stressaamisen takana, et jos jotain tältä reissulta opin, niin tästä lähtien se on ennakkotilattava kaikki must have-figuurit tai muuten niitä ei enään saa. Järkevällä hinnalla ainakaan.

Tokyo can be a really treacherous place for your wallet, especially if you're a collector like myself, and although we thought that we had a lot of money with us, not a dime was left when we got back home... The exchange rate for yen was great this time and the figure prices weren't so high anymore either, but on another note some figures were almost impossible to find! Fortunately I managed to find every figure I wanted, but it was a lot of effort and if it tought me something it's that from now on I'm going to pre-order every must have figure or there won't be any left later on (for a decent price at least)...

Okei 99% tavaroista mitä ostin on Love Livestä... Pääsin käymään muutamassa Love Live-aiheisessa rajotetun ajan olevissa kaupoissa ja riehannuin niissä tietysti täysin! Pate oli ihan käsittämättömän kannustava ja ymmärtäväinen tän mun pakkomielteen kanssa ja sano aina, et voin ostaa ihan mitä haluun, etten sitte vaan kadu myöhemmin! Ja minähän tein työtä käskettyä! On se täydellinen aviomies, ei voi muuta sanoa! (/ >w<)/

Okay, 99% of the things I bought was from Love Live... I got to visit few of the "limited time only" Love Live shops and went all out crazy there! Pat was so supportive and understanding about my obsession and always told me that since it's limited time only I can buy what ever I want so I won't regret anything later! And so I did! He's such a perfect hubby! (/ >w<)/

Love Live snacks (+ one poster pack) and ice cream! Fans got to vote two of the girls to be official ice cream-girls and Eli & Kotori won! Two of my favourites, so not bad at all! The ice cream was delicious!

Art books and few doujinshis!

I found this cute box of the 3rd years and it became my little Love Live treasure box where I stored all these pins, key chains and other random things. (^w^)

New wall scrolls, posters and 2016 calendar! (Hooray for the image quality...)

Ja sitten sitä muovikauneutta! Kyllä on taas materialistin tarpeet tyydytetty hetkeksi (vaikkakin muutama figuuri onkin jo odottamassa joulukuusen alla)! Haha! XD Kyllä oli taas sellaset tetrikset meneillään kun näitä alettiin mahduttaa figuhyllyihin.. Nuket joutu siirtymään makkariin, et saatiin 2 kokonaista hyllyä lisätilaa olohuoneeseen. Love Live-typyt on vallannu meijän isoimmasta vitriinistä jo 2 hyllyä ja pahalta näyttää, et kohta ne tarttee jo kolmannenkin... Oh boy... Lottovoitto ja uus, isompi asunto ois kiva!

And finally some plastic beauty! I'm one happy and pleased materialist right now (even though there's few new figures under the cristmas tree already)! Haha! XD It was one hell of a miracle to fit all these newcomers into our shelves but after moving my dolls to our bedroom we got two whole shelves more space for figures. Love Live-girls are steadily conquering more and more space for themselves and soon they'll need yet another shelf... Oh boy... I could really use a lotto jackpot and new, bigger apartment right now!

This Birthday Eli was my pride and joy from the trip! I ended up paying so much money for it that it isn't even funny... XD But what wouldn't you do for your waifu?!

Last but not least, the cutest things we bought for us! Takeo and Yamato charms.

Hey big spender!

Tein vuos sitten pienehkön ostoslistan ennen silloista Japanin reissua ja ajattelin jatkaa samaa traditiota tälläkin kertaa! On hauska nähä sitten matkalta palattua kuinka onnistuneesti sitä sai rahat tuhlattua vai tuliko ostettua jotain aivan muuta...! XD

I made year ago a small shopping list before our last trip to Japan and I thought it would be nice to continue the tradition and make one for this trip as well! It'll be fun to compare the list and the haul after the vacation and see how accurate it was! XD

Ne rakkaimmat! Oon huomannu nyt muutaman nuken hankittuani, et kyllä mä vaan oon henkeen ja vereen enemmän scale figuurien keräilijä, koska nautin kaikista eniten näiden kanssa touhuumisesta. Nivelletyt figuurit ja nuket ei selvästikään oo se mun juttu koska mulla palaa vaan pinna kun yritän asetella niitä, enkä saa ikinä luonnollisia asentoja aikaseks ja sit kaikki hauskuus kuvaamisestakin katoaa. Tekemällä ja kokeilemallahan sitä varmasti oppis ajan myötä, mut silti palaan aina valokuvaamaan mielummin figuureita. (ლ˘╰╯˘).｡.:*♡ Toivottavasti löydän paljon uusia valokuvauksen kohteita kokoelmiin (kuvassa tärkeimmät, joita koitan metsästää)!

My lovelies! After getting few dolls in my collection, I've noticed that I'm definitely more of a scale figure collector than a doll collector. Jointed figures and dolls just aren't my thing because I always lose my nerves while trying to pose them naturally (which seems to be mission impossible for me) and then it becomes such a nuisance to take pictures of them rather than being enjoyable thing. I'm sure that with a lot of practice and through trials and errors I would get better eventually, but still... I always go back to photographing figures. (ლ˘╰╯˘).｡.:*♡ I really hope to find many new beauties to my collection (on the pic above is the most important ones)!

Ainoan poikkeuksen noiden nivellettyjen figuurien suhteen tekee tietysti nendoroidit joita en nyt varsinaisesti edes laskis siihen joukkoon, koska nivellyksineenkin nendoroidien liikkeet on tosi rajalliset. Tällä reissulla koitan hillitä itteäni täyskokosten nendoroidien suhteen, mut petitejä haluan kyllä hamstrata LL-tytöistä niin paljon kun mahdollista! ( >ω< )

Of course nendoroids are the only exception amongst jointed figures, though I'm not sure if they count since even with joints their movement is still very limited. This time I'm trying to control myself and buy only couple full sized nendoroids but petites are a whole different story... because I want to hoard as many petite Love Live girls as I can! ( >ω< )

Sanoinkin jo kavereille, et jos en tuu Japanista takasin tän näkösenä niin sit ei oo ollu onnistunu reissu! Mulle tän reissun teemana nimittäin on mikäs muukaan kun Love Live! XD Okei, en nyt ehkä ihan noin äärimmäisyyksiin vie tota krääsän ostelua, mut aion kyllä tuhlata paljon rahaa LL-roinaan! Turha sitä on yhtään kierrellä ja kaarrella kun niin tulee kuitenkin tapahtumaan... Oon jo hyväksyny sen, ettei tästä idolihelvetistä -taivaasta ole paluuta! XD

Viikon päästä tähän aikaan istutaankin jo lentokoneessa! En malta odottaa!

 I already told my friend that if I'm not coming back from Tokyo looking like one of these fans, the trip hasn't been successful! The whole theme for this trip for me is (surprise surprise) Love Live! XD Okay, I'm not so extreme that I would wear all that junk on me, but I'm definitely going to spend a lot of money to LL-merchandise! There's no need trying to hide it from anyone... I've already accepted that there's no turning back from this idolhell -heaven! XD

Only one week to go! I can't wait!
