When the shopping gets out of hand...

Noniin! Nyt näin kuukauden jälkeen on vihdoin kaikki figuurit saatu aseteltua omille paikoilleen ja uusia julisteitakin saatu seinille. Kaiken krääsän kuvaaminen oli kyllä haastava homma enkä oikein edes tiedä miten kaiken ois parhaiten saanu kuvattua, joten koittakaan kestää tätä tavaroiden sekamelskaa... (ja kamalalaatusia kuvia!) XD

Okay! Month has passed since our Japan trip and we've finally managed to organize all our new figures on displays and put few new posters on the walls as well! It was such a hassle to try to take pictures of all the things I bought and I didn't know which was the best way to show everything so the pics are a bit messy (and crappy quality)... Sorry about that. XD

Tokio on varsinkin tällasen keräilijän lompakolle todella petollinen paikka ja vaikka oltiin taas kerran otettu mukamas reilusti rahaa mukaan, niin penniäkään ei reissulta jääny käteen... Jenin kurssi oli tälläkin kertaa meille todella suotuisa eikä figuurien hinnatkaan ollu ihan taivaissa, mutta sen sijaan joidenkin figujen saatavuus oli melkein olematon! Sentään löysin kaikki tärkeimmät mitä halusinkin, mutta kyllä se oli sellasen metsästyksen ja stressaamisen takana, et jos jotain tältä reissulta opin, niin tästä lähtien se on ennakkotilattava kaikki must have-figuurit tai muuten niitä ei enään saa. Järkevällä hinnalla ainakaan.

Tokyo can be a really treacherous place for your wallet, especially if you're a collector like myself, and although we thought that we had a lot of money with us, not a dime was left when we got back home... The exchange rate for yen was great this time and the figure prices weren't so high anymore either, but on another note some figures were almost impossible to find! Fortunately I managed to find every figure I wanted, but it was a lot of effort and if it tought me something it's that from now on I'm going to pre-order every must have figure or there won't be any left later on (for a decent price at least)...

Okei 99% tavaroista mitä ostin on Love Livestä... Pääsin käymään muutamassa Love Live-aiheisessa rajotetun ajan olevissa kaupoissa ja riehannuin niissä tietysti täysin! Pate oli ihan käsittämättömän kannustava ja ymmärtäväinen tän mun pakkomielteen kanssa ja sano aina, et voin ostaa ihan mitä haluun, etten sitte vaan kadu myöhemmin! Ja minähän tein työtä käskettyä! On se täydellinen aviomies, ei voi muuta sanoa! (/ >w<)/

Okay, 99% of the things I bought was from Love Live... I got to visit few of the "limited time only" Love Live shops and went all out crazy there! Pat was so supportive and understanding about my obsession and always told me that since it's limited time only I can buy what ever I want so I won't regret anything later! And so I did! He's such a perfect hubby! (/ >w<)/

Love Live snacks (+ one poster pack) and ice cream! Fans got to vote two of the girls to be official ice cream-girls and Eli & Kotori won! Two of my favourites, so not bad at all! The ice cream was delicious!

Art books and few doujinshis!

I found this cute box of the 3rd years and it became my little Love Live treasure box where I stored all these pins, key chains and other random things. (^w^)

New wall scrolls, posters and 2016 calendar! (Hooray for the image quality...)

Ja sitten sitä muovikauneutta! Kyllä on taas materialistin tarpeet tyydytetty hetkeksi (vaikkakin muutama figuuri onkin jo odottamassa joulukuusen alla)! Haha! XD Kyllä oli taas sellaset tetrikset meneillään kun näitä alettiin mahduttaa figuhyllyihin.. Nuket joutu siirtymään makkariin, et saatiin 2 kokonaista hyllyä lisätilaa olohuoneeseen. Love Live-typyt on vallannu meijän isoimmasta vitriinistä jo 2 hyllyä ja pahalta näyttää, et kohta ne tarttee jo kolmannenkin... Oh boy... Lottovoitto ja uus, isompi asunto ois kiva!

And finally some plastic beauty! I'm one happy and pleased materialist right now (even though there's few new figures under the cristmas tree already)! Haha! XD It was one hell of a miracle to fit all these newcomers into our shelves but after moving my dolls to our bedroom we got two whole shelves more space for figures. Love Live-girls are steadily conquering more and more space for themselves and soon they'll need yet another shelf... Oh boy... I could really use a lotto jackpot and new, bigger apartment right now!

This Birthday Eli was my pride and joy from the trip! I ended up paying so much money for it that it isn't even funny... XD But what wouldn't you do for your waifu?!

Last but not least, the cutest things we bought for us! Takeo and Yamato charms.

Dracula Exclusive

Heissulivei, pitkästä aikaa!

Nyt on mun Love Live-pyhiinvaellukselta Japanin reissusta turvallisesti kotiuduttu, mutta bloggaamisinto jäi matkan varrella jonnekin. En tiedä johtuuko vuodenajasta vai mistä, mutta viime aikoina en vaan yksinkertasesti oo jaksanu päivittää tai edes ajatella koko blogia (vaikka asiaa olis paljonkin). Mulle on nykyään jotenkin ihan ylitsepääsemättömän vaikeeta saada raahattua itteni meijän pöytäkoneelle, joka tietysti vaikuttaa siihen ettei postauksia oo näkyny kun kaikki valokuvat vaan lojuu muistitikuilla odottamassa muokkaamista... Nyt päätin kuitenki asentaa pari ohjelmaa pikkuläppärille ja kokeilla josko tää päivittäminen alkais sujumaan taas helpommin! :) Toivotaan parasta! Ja vielä pahoittelut kaikille lukijoille tästä hiljaiselosta/tauosta/laiskuudesta!

Hello, long time no see!
We have finally returned from my Love Live pilgrimage Tokyo safe and sound, but somewhere along the way I lost my interest of blogging as well. I'm not sure if it's because of the season or what, but lately I've just been too damn lazy to even think about this blog (eventhough I have a lot of things to post about). Nowadays it feels like a mission impossible to drag my carcass to our computer and that's one of the reasons why I haven't posted a thing for a while. Plus my photo editor is on the PC so all my photos just stay idle in memory sticks waiting to be edited.. BUT, I decided to install few programs on my mini-laptop and see if it's going to help me boost my motivation up again! :) Let's hope for the best! My sincerest apologies to all readers for this long silence/break/lazyness!

No niin, nyt kun on se pois alta niin olihan mulla ihan esiteltävääkin (Japani-lootit saa nyt odottaa)! Haettiin nimittäin heti lomalta kotiin tultua eräs paketti joka sisälsi meijän tän hetken kalleimman figuurin... Huhuhu!

Saanen esitellä First 4 Figures-tekijän "Dracula Exclusive Edition" pelistä Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

Okay, now that I got that off my chest it's time to introduce the new member of our collection (Japan-loot can wait)! This is our most expensive figure yet... Huhuhu.

So let me introduce you from the manufacturer First 4 Figures, "Dracula Exclusive Edition" from the video game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2!

First 4 Figures on pieni, laadukkaita figuureja valmistava firma, jotka on tehny monista eri videopeleistä figuureja esim. The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Megaman, Sonic the Hedgehog ja monia muita. Kaikki figuurit on käsin maalattuja ja saatavuus todella rajallinen joten figuuria tilatessa ei voi kahta kertaa miettiä tai  muuten jää ilman. :D

First 4 Figures is a small high-end figure manufacturer which has made figures from many videogames i.e. The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Megaman, Sonic the Hedgehog and so on. All their figures are hand painted and very limited, so there's no time to think twice when buying figures from them. Otherwise you're not gonna get one. :D

Aitoustodistus ja mallin numero. Halutessaan oman numeron voi käydä rekisteröimässä firman sivuille ja tulevaisuudessa pyytää samalla numerolla muitakin figuureja! Aika söpö idea!

The authenticity card which includes the model number. You can register the model number in their website and order other figures with the same model number later on! Really cute idea!

Sad Keanu Dracula is sad...

Ja tässä tän figuurin exclusive-part. Maksettiin siis ekstraa siitä, että saatiin vaihtokäsi missä Dracula pitelee tota maljaa. Normiversiossa se lepuuttais vaan kättä tossa käsinojalla. Täytyyhän sitä Pimeyden Prinssillä nyt oma verimalja olla! Haha! Mut oikeesti, däymn noita yksityiskohtia tossa valtaistuimessa! Incredible!

And here's the exclusive-part of this figure. We paid more money so we could get the alternative hand for Dracula where he holds the goblet. The normal version comes without the goblet and we though that if you are The Prince of Darkness, you need to have your very own blood goblet! Haha! But seriously speaking, look at dem details in the throne! Incredible!

Lisää yksityiskohtia. Tähän patsaaseen on kyllä saatu tehtyä kaikki kankaiden erilaiset tekstuurit ja metallit niin aidon näköseks, etten voi kun ihmetellä tota käden jälkeä! Upeeta työtä.

More details. They nailed all the different textures of fabric, metal and wood so perfectly that it looks almost real! Such amazing work!

Ensimmäiseks F4F-figuuriksi ollaan kyllä todella tyytyväisiä tähän patsaaseen ja odotan vaan innolla mitä kaikkea muuta ne julkasee tulevaisuudessa! Hinnat saattaa välillä vähän kirpasta, mut toisaalta se firma tekee paljon figuureja videopeleistä, joista ei pahemmin mitään fanikamaa muuten saa, niin kyllä sitä välillä voi itteään hemmotella ja maksaa vähän enemmän jos joku lempihahmo sieltä löytyy. (n__n) Asiakaspalvelu oli myös tosi ystävällistä ja saatiin jopa sumplittua halvemmat postikulut Suomeen, koska normaalisti oltais jouduttu maksaa 100e pelkistä postikuluista! Kaiken kaikkiaan voin lämpimästi suositella kyseistä firmaa ja eiköhän mekin vielä tulevaisuudessa sieltä jotain tilata.. :D

This is our first figure from F4F and we couldn't be happier! I can't wait to see what other figures they'll release in the future! The prices of these statues can get quite high but then again, they make a lot of figures from series you normally don't find much merchandise of, so I think it's perfectly fine to pamper yourself once in a while if you find a figure of your favourite character. (n__n) The customer service was also great and we were even able to negotiate lower shipping fees for our figure. With their default delivery it would've cost 100 euros just to ship it to Finland! All in all I can really recommend  the shop to everyone, I'm sure we'll order something there in the future as well... :D

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (ensimmäinen osa, ei kakkonen) on ehdottomasti yks meijän lempparipeleistä. Se tarina siinä on niin koskettava (erityisesti jos sulla on joku special someone elämässäs) ja sen pelin loppu oli sillon aikoinaan niin yllättävä, että vieläki menee iho ihan kananlihalle ku mietinkin sitä. Upea, upea peli! Ja siinä on yks videopelihistorian parhaimmista sound trackeistä (ja Patrick Stewart)! Kannattaa vilkasta toi traileri!

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (the first one, not the second) is one of our favourite video games. The story is so touching (at least if you have that special someone in your life) and the ending at the time was so shocking that it still gives me the chills when I think about it. Awesome, awesome game! Plus it has one of the best sound tracks in video game history (and there's Patrick Stewart)! Check out the trailer below!
