Dear Santa...

Joulu alkaa jo kovaa vauhtia lähestymään ja vielä olisi ainakin miljoona asiaa tekemättä! Yleensä oon alottanu kaikki jouluvalmistelut jo hyvissä ajoin ettei mitään jäis viime tinkaan, mut kuten lumi yllätti VR:n niin joulu yllätti mut tänä vuonna! Onneks kuitenkin liipasinsormi on laulanu figuurien ennakkotilauksien kanssa, niin jotain kivaa ja muovista sieltä paketeista löytyy sitten tänäkin jouluna... Huhuhu.

Christmas is closing up and I still have like million things to do! I've usually started all the christmas preparations well in advance because I hate to leave everything to the last minute, but somehow christmas got me by a surprise this year! Luckily I've been a very trigger-happy with all the figure pre-orders so there's going to be at least a few plastic wonders under the christmas tree... Huhuhu.

No mitäs rakkaalta joulupukilta tuli sitten tänä vuonna oikein pyydettyä?

So what did I ask from Santa for this christmas?

1. PS VITA (slim)

Tätä kaunokaista on tähän perheeseen kaivattu jo pari vuotta! En voi kutsua itteäni hardcore Playstation-faniksi jos en edes omista niiden uusinta käsikonsolia! Mikä häväistys! Onneksi asiaan tulee vihdoin muutos ja jouluna meijän perhe kasvaa taas yhdellä uudella jäsenellä... <3

I've longed for this beauty for a few years now!! I can't call myself a hardcore Playstation-fan if I don't even own their newest handheld!! Blasphemy! Fortunately things are going to change and in this christmas our family grows with a one new member... <3

2. Games, games, games!

Mitäpä olisi uusi konsoli ilman pelejä? Tää joulu tulee olemaan hyvin Vita-painotteinen, mut kyllä listalle mahtuu muutakin. Tärkeinpinä toiveina on uusin Hatsune Miku Project Diva f 2nd-rytmipeli PS3:lle, Hyperdimension Neptunia PP ja Love Live! School idol paradise-rytmipelit Vitalle. Ei varmaan jää epäselväksi, et rytmipelit on tällä hetkellä kova sana.... XD Muita nice to have-pelejä olisi myös Little Big Planet 3 (PS4) ja Senran Kagura Shinovi versus (PSV). Mikään ei kyllä voita sitä fiilistä jouluaaton jälkeen kun on lomaa vielä jäljellä ja paljon uusia pelejä odottamassa pelaamista! Voi vaan möllötellä päivät pitkät sohvalla pieruverkkarit päällä, syödä herkkuja ja....... pelata. UwU

What would I do with a new console without any new games? This christmas is going to be all about Vita, but there's few other games in my list as well. My most wanted games are Hatsune Miku Project Diva f 2nd - rythm game for PS3 and Hyperdimension Neptunia PP and Love Live! School idol paradise - rythm games for Vita. As you may have noticed, I'm really into rythm games nowadays... XD There's also few "nice to have"-games such as Little Big Planet 3 (PS4) and Senran Kagura Sinovi versus (PSV). I love the feeling after the christmas eve when you still have few days off from work and you can just lay on the sofa all day long, eat great food and play new games! Priceless! UwU

3. Figures & doll stuff

Mun toivelista on kyllä sellanen materialistin perikuva, ettei mitään rajaa. XD Ja pakkohan se on tota pientä muovikokoelmaakin taas kasvattaa muutamalla uudella tulokkaalla... Tällä kertaa figuurisaldo jäi kuitenkin pikkasen pienemmäksi mitä viime vuonna, koska halusin myös mun dollfie dreamille uusia vaatteita sekä VIHDOIN JA VIIMEIN oman ständin. Täytyy nyt vaan pitää kaikki sormet ja varpaat ristissä, et kaikki tilaukset kerkeis perille ennen joulua! Vaikka onhan se kyllä kivaa saada joulun jälkeenkin paketteja... Haha!

This wishlist is purely all out materialistic! XD And of course I have to grow my little plastic collection with a few newcomers... I'm not getting as many figures as last year because I wanted to get new stuff for my dollfie dream as well! Momoko is getting new clothes and FINALLY her own stand! Now I just need to keep all my fingers (and toes) crossed that all online orders get here before christmas. Although it's nice to get gifts after the christmas as well... Haha!

Freddy vs. Jason

Heipsan!

Tänä vuonna en valitettavasti tee joulukalenteria vaikka ensin mulla olikin se suunnitelmissa. Nyt on ollut vaan niin kauhee kiire ja vouhotus koko ajan päällä, et postaustahtikin on siitä kärsiny! Pahoittelut! Koitan ottaa itteäni niskasta kiinni ja palata taas normaaliin postaustahtiin! :D Mutta nyt kun ei ole joulukalenteria, niin kerkeenpähän esitellä teille muutamia uusia figutulokkaita ennen joulun joukkoryntäystä... (ehhh, tänäkin vuonna?!) XD

Ensimmäisenä esittelyssä on Kotobukiyan ensimmäiset Horror Bishoujo-sarjan tytöt, eli saanen esitellä:

Unfortunately this year I won't be doing a christmas calendar even though I had planned to do one. I've been super busy lately and it's been affecting to my blog as well. I'm really sorry about the lack of posts recently! I try to get my shit together and start to post normally again! Haha! :D But since I'm not doing the christmas calendar, I have plenty of time to show my new figures to you. So yay for that! XD

So the first in line are two girls from the all mighty Kotobukiyas Horror Bishoujo-series:

Freddy Krueger 

(Kotobukiya, bishoujo statue, scale 1/7)

En pysty ikinä painottamaan tarpeeks kuinka paljon mä RA-KAS-TAN Shunya Yamashitan piirustustyyliä!! Bishoujo-figuurien laatikot on niitä harvoja figubokseja jotka on pakko säilyttää ihan vaan noiden taidekuvien takia. Itehän en figujen laatikoita muuten säilytä, koska meillä ei yksinkertasesti tila riitä. Jotkut keräilijät tuppaa säilömään figulaatikoita varastokaupalla mut ite oon oppinu japaninreissujen takia let it go, koska matkalaukun tila on hyvinkin rajallinen.... Valitettavasti. XD

Bishoujo-figuurit on Kotobukiyan oma "kaunis nainen"-figuurisarja, jos näin voi sanoa, ja tämä kyseinen Freddy on nyt Horror Bishoujo-sarjan esikoinen. Muita bishoujo-sarjoja on mm. Marvelin, Tekkenin ja Street Fighterin hahmoista. Toivon todella, et Kotobukiya jatkaa tätä Horror-sarjaa lisää, koska mitä olis Freddy ja Jason ilman Michael Myersia tai Leatherfacea!! UwU

There's no words to describe how much I L-O-V-E Shunya Yamashita's artwork!! Bishoujo-figures boxes are the only boxes I want to keep just because of the artwork in them. Usually I throw away all my figure boxes 'cos I simply don't have enough room for them. I think most of the collectors keep all the boxes but I've learned to let it go thanks to our Japan trips and the limited space in the suitcases! XD

Bishoujos are Kotobukiya's own "beautiful women"-figure series, to translate roughly, and this Freddy Krueger is the first one in the Horror Bishoujo-line. There's also many other bishoujo figures from Marvel, Tekken and Streetfighter characters for example. I really hope that they will continue this Horror-serie as well 'cos Freddy and Jason are nothing without Michael Myers or Leatherface!! UwU

 Oon huomannu, et figuuripiireissä Freddy ei oo niinkään saanu osakseen kauheesti kehuja, mut muhun tää kyllä kolahti täydellisesti! Laatu on taattua Kotobukiyaa, eli täydellisyyttä hipova. Jopa toi verkkosukka on oikeeta verkkokangasta, joka oli hauska yksityiskohta figuuriin! Tosin säikähdin ekalla kerralla kun tartuin mokomaa jalasta kiinni ja se kangas lähtikin liikkumaan!!

I've noticed that inside the figure community Freddy isn't exactly the most appreciated one, but personally I think she's just perfect! The quality of the figure is amazing and the little details on her are outstanding. Like for example the fishnet stocking on her leg is actually a real fabric and it startled me at first when I try to grab her leg!! :D

Veriroiskeet on todella tarkasti maalattu, vaikkakin olisin toivonu jotain pientä uraa noihin haavojen syvimpiin kohtiin. Nyt se nimittäin näyttää enemmän siltä, et joku on leikkiny liikaa ketsupilla kuin, että se olis oikeesti syvä haava... But oh well! Tykkäilen muutenkin tän figuurin asukokonaisuudesta tosi paljon vaikka siitäkin oon kuullu puhuttavan, et figuuri näyttää vähän tylsältä. Mut ehkä tollanen skanky-look ei oo kaikkien mieleen ja myönnettäköön, että jos sitä oikeeta Freddy Kruegeria nyt mietitään, niin olishan tässä voinu enemmän mielikuvitusta käyttää.

The blood on her is painted really well even though I would have longed for more detail in the deepest part of the "wound". Now it looks more like a ketchup stain than a real wound with blood in it... But oh well! I also like her outfit really much although I've heard many say that she looks a bit dull. Maybe the skanky-look isn't for everyone and thinking over the original Freddy Krueger, I must admit that they could have used a bit more imagination with this one.

 Mutta tota naamaa ei kyllä voita mikään!! Tykkään enemmän tän figuurin ilmeestä kun siitä alkuperäsestä Shunyan piirustuksen ilmeestä! Noi huuletkin on maalattu ihan käsittämättömän hyvin ja tollaset detailit vaan saa mut arvostamaan figujen maalajia enemmän ja enemmän. Kyllä mulla ainakin käsi alkais pikkasen tutisemaan kun silmäripsiä pitäis maalailla... Haha!

But there's no denying of that perfect face of hers!! I like the figures expression over the Shunya's artwork! Those perfectly painted lips and all the details in her face just makes me respect the painters job even more. I can only imagine how my hand would start to wobble while trying to paint those eyelashes... Haha!

Pakollinen booty-shot, mut toi farkkutägi vaan oli sellanen "awww"-reaktio kun sen ekan kerran näin, että pitihän se kamerallekin ikuistaa. :D Siinä taas yksi figuurin upeista yksityiskohdista!

The must have booty shot!! That little tag on her shorts is yet again one of the perfect details on this figure. And when I saw it the first time, it made me go "awwwww" so I just had to take a picture of it. :D

No sitten se ständi... Freddy (ja Jason myös) seisoo sen kengänpohjiin laitettujen magneettien avulla tossa sen pienessä veriroiskealustassaan. Mun mielestä ei ehkä ihan paras mahdollinen idea, koska kun vähänkin tönäsee niin figuhan lentää mukkelis makkelis saman tien. Toisaalta jos sillä olis jotkut kauheet tuet pitämässä sitä pystyssä, niin se ei olis esteettisesti sitten niin hyvän näkönen. Ja eikä se kyllä tuolla lasivitriinissä oo itekseen lähteny kaatuilemaan... vielä.

And then there's the stand... Freddy (and Jason too) stands with two magnets imbedded in their shoes. I find it a bit hazard way to support the figure since every time when the figure is given even a little nodge it falls straight on it's face. Then again it wouldn't look nearly as good as it does now if it had some awkward external support. And luckily she haven't fall down by itself while displayed in the cabinet... yet.

Jason Voorhees
(Kotobukiya, bishoujo statue, scale 1/7)

No sitten Jason Voorhees.... HNNNNGGGHH! Mistä mä edes alotan?! En oo ikinä tykänny jos 2D-tytöillä näkyy liikaa lihaksia, mut holy hell... Jasonin absit on kyllä jotain niin herkullista, ettei mitään rajaa! Muutenkin koko figuuri kaikessa täydellisyydessään on jotain käsittämättömän upeeta!! Ihan ehdottomasti yks mun lempifiguureista tällä hetkellä!

And then there's Jason.... HNNNNGGHH!! Where do I even begin?! I've never liked muscles on 2D-girls but holy hell... Jason's abs are so frickin yummy that I can't even!! Over all this whole figure in all it's perfection is absolutely amazing!! Definetly one of my favourite figures right now!

Voiko mitään badassimpää (fingrish ftw!) figuuria olla olemassakaan?! Toi ihanan maskuliininen asento, noi TÄYDELLISET repaleiset farkut ja nahkatakki, kirves ja machete! Höystettynä vielä täydellisillä kasvoilla.... Ahh, en yksinkertasesti keksi mitään pahaa sanottavaa Jasonista! No okei, veritahrat on taas samanlaista ketsuppia ku Freddyllakin, mutta se nyt on pikku juttu. XD

There's nothing as badass as this figure!! That marvelously masculine pose, those PERFECT ripped jeans and leather jacket, an axe and a machete combined with that gorgeus face... Ahh, I just can't come up with anything bad to say about this figure! Okay, the blood stains still looks a bit like ketchup but it's not that big of a deal. XD

DAT ASS....

Tää nyt meni vähän tällaseks Jasonin hehkuttamiseks, mutkun se on vaan niin ihana... UwU
Jos ja kun Kotobukiya joskus tekee näitä Horror-tyttöjä lisää, niin ne on kyllä pakkohankinta mun kokoelmiin!! Oon niin ilonen, et näistä tuli noin hyviä! ♥

If and when Kotobukiya decides to make more Horror-girls in the future they are definetly going to join my collection!! I'm so pleased to see how well these two turned out!! ♥
